   Go the the previous post about FB, Dec. 12 (use the search to the top right, enter ‘facebook’, choose the entry above the santa blog) and see that all members that commented were against it. See how Grinder Australia had all 100,000 members exposed by a 18yo. kid…his entry point..social media, Twitter links to Grinder. Anyone could see the usernames, passwords, private photos, FACE PICTURES, etc..everything you think private here made public. Squirt is sacrificing our privacy so they can brag how popular they are on social media. A piercing insight as to how they view us as a commodity, not a community!

   Always follow the money. Squirt is looking for free advertising. Facebook as a site is maturing fast. It’s stock is still falling. 83% of its advertising is ignored, according to them, so they are losing existing and new advertisers. Mobile users, the most rapidly growing user group wants no ads at all! That leaves them with only the vast amount of private info they’ve gathered to mine and sell. They have modified their privacy policies 3 times this week alone. Their lawyer’s have made their privacy policies byzantine to make it impossible to really know what is private. The previous post also shows the FB settlement with the FTC over privacy violations and their 20 YEAR PROBATION for same. See the links on ‘HOW TO HACK FB’ and how simple it is to overcome their security and gain access to your private pages and your links back to Squirt. They say anyone who ‘likes’ something is crosslinked back to the original poster and any other links will be notified about you and Squirt…ALL THAT IS PUBLIC DOMAIN as per their policy. So you can be publicly be associated with Squirt and all your friends, relatives and business contacts could know…that will make an interesting Xmas! Remember, many employers use info search agencies to screen social media before and during employment with or without your permission…it’s public information as far as FB is concerned.
   Linking Squirt to Facebook is a disaster waiting to happen.

5. Sorry squirt, but I am a human, not a mindless shallow attention-whore puppet like so many of my generation. THAT website has no bearing on my life, I don’t need to let strangers and people I barely care about know about every intimate detail of my life, stuff I like, and websites I’ve joined for my own personal reasons that have nothing to do with them.

   I will not join that website, I will not ‘like’ you on that website, and if this insistence continues, I’ll definitely be taking my self elsewhere, because it’s becoming increasingly clear that squirt’s management has decided to care more about profit than the promise of privacy and sanctuary that inspired many of us to originally join.

7. ^you’re right. Totally overblown…especially when it can out a lot of closeted/in-it-for-pleasure guys to their friends, family, and possibly employers, make the website known to people not in our community, who may use it against many, report cruising locations we have listed, etc.

8. IMO, anyone DUMB ENOUGH to “Like” Squirt on Facebook is probably too damn stupid to be online in the first place. Unless you don’t care who knows what you do/like sexually.

9. This is the second time this page has been posted by Squirt.
   It seems that Squirt have taken no notice or action regarding our previous replies that most of us want the Squirt link with Facebook ended.
   It seems obvious that Squirt are not taking any notice of what us members are requesting and have made no comment as to what we have been saying and requesting, and we would like to know the reason WHY.
   Squirt website has a large number of paying members which have been willing to lodge their private details and photos for other members to read and view. Most of these guys have paid for this service for use on this web site only.
   Therefore Squirt can you please inform your members why you did not contact them regarding linking your website to Facebook before you did so without their permission.
   We as members surely are entilted to an explanation from Squirt, and that is what is required please.
   If any of Squirt members also want to be a member of Facebook they are entitled to do so as that is their own decission. It is not for Squirt to decide to link its members (website) to facebook without those members authority to do so.
   Can we have a statement form you please Squirt.

As Betty White once said on an award show, “Now that I understand what Facebook is all about, I also know how totally uselss it is!” I agree with Betty…but…go one step further (all the posts here notwithstanding): FB is for very very lonely people who have no friends and have nothing better to do than fantisize that others out there are interested in what they think and/or do.
