What happens during the day at Darklands? 

Friday and Saturday are the main day events at Darklands. You should arrive in the afternoon, select a fetish outfit and enter the Void, the main area of the festival, to check out the workshops, market and other activities. 

Once you enter, you will see that the fetish market is open this time. Stores like Mr. S, Mr. B and Mr. Riegillio are around, plus more leather, rubber and sex toy brands associated with the event.

What is the Darklands Market Like?

The market has everything you need to get your new gear. It is a fantastic place to try new fetish clothes, and everyone is super helpful if you have any questions about how to wear anything or how to take care of it. Remember, leather and rubber gear need special care and obviously can’t just be thrown in the washer like a regular cotton T-shirt.

As you walk around, I recommend grabbing a drink and socializing with everyone. People around the bar are the friendliest, and they will welcome you into their group, especially if you are in similar gear. 

The Market has one bar and stage—the Mr. S Bar—which is super social. Every few hours during the day, it hosts live sex shows, DJs, and drag shows, so stick around this area if this sounds like something for you.

I got to get a glimpse of the sportswear sex show, and it was great. I honestly wish I was the one on stage getting my hole used (as being watch/exhibitionism is one of my kinks). 

Another hot thing you will see around this area is that while you order drinks, there will be people getting dominated, spanked, tortured or fucked by the bar (or on it). I spent quite a few hours in the market and was tempted by new gear (as always), so I had to try on some stuff and ended up with more leather. One activity included with your ticket price is the socials. Throughout the four days, there will be a variety of kink socials, so make sure you check them out (and find the right location). 

I attended the Content Creator Social, Naked Social And Fisting Social. I was pretty naive attending them as I thought going to the Fisting Social, for example, I was going to walk in, and everyone was going to be ass up getting fisted. I went with the friend I met the night before. Finally, just walk around and find what you want to explore. Multiple areas are dedicated to each kink, so there is something for everyone. From an ABDL ball pit to a piss play zone and Shibari area, you can find everything and everyone here.

What is the Fusion Party at Darklands 2024?

Friday is one of the main parties, called Fusion. For this event and the Saturday one, the main stage opens up, and so do the “specialty” dark rooms, which include piss play, hardcore BDSM, and fisting. There are also three other massive dark rooms for regular sex, so there is enough space to play and have fun.

The host hotels offer a shuttle bus to the venue for this and Saturday’s parties. However, I will note that everyone from my hotel was nearby, and I waited for over an hour for a bus that never came, so I would not rely on this service, and I would just walk or Uber to the venue. 

Once you arrive, strip into your selected gear and enter the party venue. I opted for a sporty harness with an exposed dick and ass so I could easily play with everyone. 

Once I entered the main stage, I met up with the fisting friends I made at the social and had a few drinks, danced and appreciated the effort that Darklands puts into the visuals and event. This party is very tame and short, ending at 1:00 AM. Also, this event is similar to Thursday, where you only have access to the entrance stages and regular dark rooms. You can start with a more tame outfit and then strip more as the party begins.

After the last few nights, you may think I took it easy, but I definitely did not. 

I decided the last day needed to be a fully naked day with just a red hunky so people knew why I was there for. My friends and I went to the second-floor darkrooms and found an area to fist each other. It didn’t take long until all the fisters joined us, and we took over the place.

The bar is open from 9:00 PM until 9:00 AM, so you have lots of time to get your freak on. It is just a short 10-15-minute walk from the venue. Going after the Thursday or Sunday event is the best decision, as these parties end early, and we all have hungry holes that need a lot of attention. 

If you go, leave the Thursday or Sunday party early so you don’t have to wait in line at Boots. Once you arrive, you must become a member (free) and then coat-check everything. I recommend going fully naked. This place has five floors for play, each one kinkier than the next one. 

The first two floors are just a bar and some small play areas. The third floor has a very dark area and a piss play zone (so this floor smells a bit). 

The top floor is filled with sex slings and fuck benches, but it also is the smoking floor, so if you don’t like the smell of cigarettes, I would say avoid this area.

The basement is more like a labyrinth, and not many people play there, so your best bet is the second and third floors. I stayed here a very long time just having drinks, making out with daddies, and having my hole used by different guys.

You will feel so comfortable after a few hours here that I can assure you, it will leave you wanting more.
