I do find it funny when I complain about ink but some of those same people who tell me to get over it seem to have a problem with a guy having long hair. Hair can be cut (and regrow); ink is usually permanent (granted, it can fade but you’re talking years, even decades). The other side of the hair argument is equally bizarre: Some guys complain about a guy waxing or shaving bare because they like a guy that’s “natural” but then get all pissy-moany when a guy sports long hair. (Don’t care what folks say, I like the standard Tarzan look..)
I checked a couple of the profiles of people that bitch when I complain about ink and have generally found that they are also ink junkies. I think the discussion hits home for them. As for hair styles, there are some that are over the top, mainly dye jobs, but length of hair has never bothered me. This might also be a case where some people can’t grow their own and might be a little jealous.
So if it might take “years , even decades” before “usually permanent” tats might fade, why do you keep bitching about it endlessly? What good do you think your whining will do? Get a hobby!
