I caught up with Oliver Hunt for a behind-the-scenes look at his online life.
The origin story
I started by asking Oliver what led him to start exploring a career in adult entertainment.
“I hope I don’t disappoint you for not having the usual sexy answer, like – I have a very high sex-drive, or I used to be a stripper, or the newest one, I was let go at my job…” replies Oliver.
“Fun fact, I never pictured myself having sex in front of a camera, let alone having a whole crew in the room watching, and making a career out of it. Like, I always deleted any nudes I had on my phone, I never recorded any sexual encounters with any of my boyfriends. I guess I wasn’t confident enough or I thought I didn’t have what it takes.”
“I grew up in a very dangerous country – which I’d rather not disclose. After settling in England, and achieving goals like getting a good job, buying a house and getting my citizenship, I thought that I was ready to look after my family and give them a better life in a country where they would also be safe. Unfortunately, my income wasn’t strong enough to provide for them as much as I wanted – on top of my mortgage and bills.”
“So, I took the advice of some of my followers on social media and started doing OnlyFans. What I hoped would be a few hundred pounds a month to help my family, turned out to be a life so much better than I ever imagined that I could give them.”
“Seven members of my family now live in Spain, only two hours away from me.”
Unleashing the exhibitionist
“Being in the sex industry has made me learn and discover things about my sexuality that I never used to be open to try in the past…” says Oliver, when I ask if he’d describe himself as an exhibitionist.
“However, I’ve also learned that while I can be very confident and open-minded about trying new things on camera, that’s not always the case in my personal life.”
“I guess that I’ve discovered that I really enjoy being an exhibitionist in front of the camera, and there’s also been a few exhibitionist opportunities outside of work that I’ve also enjoyed.”
Heroes and inspirations
“I met Gabriel Cross at a festival over a year ago – I still think that it’s one of the best things that has happened, not just in terms of starting my career but also for my new life in London…” says Oliver, when I ask him about heroes or inspirations in the adult entertainment industry.
“Gabriel and I got along so well from day one, and I’ve followed every step of his advice and how he’s shown me how to do this job.”
“I’ve learned so much from him, and I’ve worked hard to become successful. I hope that I’ll be able to repay his kindness.”
The business of porn
“I have a degree in International Business – Marketing was always my favourite lecture during my time in university…” explains Oliver, when I ask if he enjoys the entrepreneurial side of the adult entertainment industry.
“Producing my own content from scratch and putting it out there to reach as much of an audience as possible, that’s a challenge much harder than most of my assignments back in the classroom. Nevertheless, it’s a journey that I enjoy and that I have so much fun trying to navigate – despite some of the challenges of this industry.”
The underwear
“Sorry, what is underwear?” jokes Oliver, when I ask about his underwear preferences.
“Whenever I’m at home, or just with one of my close friends, then I spend most of my time naked or in only a pair of shorts.
At the gym, I’m mostly freeballing.
“Whenever I feel the need to wear underwear, I always go for briefs. I also prefer briefs when it comes to what other guys are wearing. That is, if they have to wear anything.
“I like briefs because they enhance the bits that we’re most attracted to in a guy.”
Planning ahead
“After travelling for the last six months or so, I’m looking forward to some down-time at home…” says Oliver, when I ask what’s on his agenda for the months ahead.
“I’m planning to visit my family, reconnect with old friends, and focus on my workout routine. I want to be in good shape for my next production.”
