ACTIVE DUTY: Hey Troops,I’ve been going through the archives here on the site and doing a lot of catching up with old scenes I haven’t watched in a long time. That doesn’t mean they aren’t all hot as fuck but you can only watch so much at a time. So, I’ve started grouping them into themes or by the rooms or the houses they were shot in over the years. This really helps put things in perspective regarding different periods or ‘era’s’ of Active Duty. I didn’t start in any particular order or at the beginning of AD, I just picked a theme and for this compilation I chose Pool Time as the theme because over the years (especially the years I spent in La Jolla, CA) the pool and the pool house played a big role as the backdrop for so many great scenes. In fact, with the exception of the first scene, all of these scenes were shot in the backyard of the La Jolla house.
The first scene will throw you way, way back to our 100th DVD release, ‘Band Of Lovers’. Naturally for such a milestone I wanted to create something as spectacular as possible and man did it turn out to be epic. This scene takes us way back to 2004 and features a handful, but deliberately chosen soldiers. Shot just a couple of years after the mainstream movie, ‘Band Of Brothers’ this was my homage to the film and what I like to call the deleted scenes from the feature film itself LOL. Of course it was just a porno—but in my eyes it was much, much more than that. It was a huge milestone celebrating what Active Duty has always been about beneath all the nakedness, hot guys and military ‘theme’ and that was the brotherhood and camaraderie that would form just as naturally between these guys as if they were somewhere on the battlefield. Military may have been the ‘theme’ but it was also the reality and our own private peek into a window of the barracks. The guys featured here were all as real as it gets.
