I caught up with Nick LA to talk about career choices, getting started in the world of fan-subscription, and why he loves being his own boss.
The origin story
“I started out as a stripper…” explains Nick, when I ask him how he got his start in the adult entertainment industry.
“Long story short, I used to own a food truck. I had a business partner at the time who ended up stealing a lot of money from the business. With that, and attorney fees, I started to strip – not only to hold up my business but also to have a job that still allowed me the flexibility to run the food truck.”
“I really enjoy working as a stripper. I like the atmosphere and the people that I get to meet. Being social, having fun, and dancing is what I love to do – stripping gives me all of that.”
“The move into fan-subscription channels was a fairly logical move – it was a good fit for my lifestyle and my personal goals.”
The business of fan-subscription channels
“I felt pretty confident that if I was consistent then it would work out…” says Nick, when I ask him how he set himself up for success in the world of fan-subscription content.
“It was important to me to have a plan. Having a plan will keep you consistent – I’d recommend that anyone who is starting out should try and set themselves daily and weekly goals.”
“I just used my phone and some apps when I started out filming, upgrading the kit when things started to pick up for me.”
“The content I create is me showing my butt off a lot, and also a lot of me getting down and dirty. I also like to push the boundaries and try new things in new places.”
“I enjoy every aspect of the business. Building something on my own and working for myself is the dream for me. Plus, I get to be naked at work.”
The underwear
“The only time I actually wear underwear is for sexual encounters…” says Nick, when our conversation inevitably turns to underwear. “I like thongs, jockstraps, and anything see-through.”
“Other than that, I prefer to free-ball through the day and at the gym.”
Planning ahead
“In the coming months, I’ll be working with some porn studios…” says Nick, when I ask what’s on his agenda. “I’ll also be meeting up with some beautiful men to film some OnlyFans content and make sure that I’m keeping my fans satisfied.”
