Maybe you’re thinking of launching a fan-subscription channel or aspiring to land your first studio scene. What are some of the hints and tips you should know as you navigate the adult entertainment industry?
We asked some of our porn-star connections what advice they would give to someone who was starting in the content creation business.
“Stay humble…” says Sir Peter – the Content Creator of the Year winner at the Grabby Awards Europe. “Work hard and be proud of the work that you do.
“It’s a tough industry. Make sure that this is what you want to do and just go for it 100%! Stay focused on your own goals and don’t waste time being jealous of what other people are doing.”
“Never forget to treat others and yourself with kindness. Be an example of professionalism and integrity, and have fun along the way!”
“Just be careful…” advises Seth Peterson, who now films with Naked Sword after getting his start with Helix Studios. “Don’t get taken advantage of. Know your worth. If something isn’t to your satisfaction, then don’t do it.”
“Firstly, know your boundaries and stick to them!” assert Callum & Cole – the Scottish couple who recently collected the trophy for Most Imaginative Content Creator at the Grabby Awards Europe. “Make sure to protect your content – it’s your currency. Focus on building a brand, not just a page, and don’t rely on one platform to carry you. Most importantly, protect your peace of mind because your mental health matters just as much as your hustle!”
“Before starting, you have to love and feel comfortable with your body, have a high sex drive, and enjoy sex, ” advises Johnny Hakson, winner of the Best Twink trophy at Grabby Awards Europe 2025.
“Be natural and spontaneous – people like to feel that you are enjoying every scene. Create a connection with your scene partner. You also need to develop a strong mindset to overcome any negative comments you may receive from family, friends, and people around you.”
“I struggle to deal with my social media…” shares GayVN award winner, Joel Someone. “It’s a platform that doesn’t want you on there. It’s a medium that’s trying to kick you off. But you have to figure out the boundaries and figure out how the platforms work. Nothing is easy in this life. If you really want this career, you can’t let something like social media hurt you or hold you back. Not everyone can have this life.”
“Whoever you talk to, you’re going to hear the exact same advice every single time – try more, try different, explore your options, be nice, go to every event. Everyone will give you the same advice – whether you take it or not is up to you.”
“You have to have confidence in yourself…” advises Mika Ayden, winner of the trophy for Best Group scene at the recent Grabby Awards Europe. “There’s room for everyone in this industry. You don’t need to be muscular or have the biggest dick. What really matters is being authentic and passionate.”
“It’s also important to have a healthy lifestyle – get good sleep, avoid alcohol and drugs – you want to be at your best and feel good mentally.”
“Get the ball rolling by producing their own content, build your profile on social media, and stay close to your audience – that’s who makes it possible for us to be able to do this job.”
“It’s challenging sometimes because there are so many more creators coming into the industry…” shares Sascha Cologne, performer and CEO of CollabFinder. “Your audience expects more and more and more of you, and you feel that pressure.”
“Also, some collaborations that you have sometimes don’t feel great, but you still want to do them. It’s a challenging job – it’s not as easy as just fucking around and getting money for it.”
“The good things are that you don’t have to be in one place the whole time, you can travel, you meet a lot of new people, and you can develop from that.”
“I have three bits of advice…” says Duke London, winner of Best Bottom at the Grabby Awards Europe.
“First, stay true to yourself. You can see when somebody is truly enjoying what they do. Don’t become a creator that focuses on creating content that makes others happy – you’re in control of your brand.”
“Second, be consistent. Consistency is key to growth. You’ll start to build a loyal and trusting fan base who will be more invested in you long term, which means higher lifetime fan retention. We focus on getting new fans but we should focus equally on how we retain the ones we have.”
“Finally, become part of the community. Content creators are often willing to share tips that have worked for them but equally you can learn from the mistakes of others. Ask everyone you meet what the one thing has been that has helped them grow.”
“If content creating is something you want to do, start now…” says Colby Jaxxx – host of the BateOff competition on BateWorld.
“Just kind of figure out your vibe and your aesthetic, and play around – record videos with the thought of nobody’s ever going to see this. But if you watch it back and you’re like, wait, this is really good. Then post it. See what sort of response you get.”
“That’s what I used to do – I used to just set up my phone and I’d say, you know what? Nobody’s ever going to see this, this is for me. And then I’d watch it back and be like, yeah, no – I want people to see this.”
“Make sure you’re grounded emotionally and spiritually…” advises Grabby nominee, Leo Bulgari. ”Don’t enter this industry to fill a void – know your purpose. Protect your peace, set clear boundaries, and remember – everything you do will stay online forever.”
“Ask yourself if this aligns with who you truly are and who you want to become. No career is worth losing your inner peace or your connection with God.”
“There’s two things for me…” shares Miles Fallon, who films with KinkMen. “The first one is, don’t let the money drive you. Your initial startup period isn’t going to look that great – you’ll have highs and lows. If you’re doing everything based on a money number, you’re not going to get there. You’ve got to have passion and drive behind everything that you’re doing.”
“The second thing is to figure out who you are – whether that’s being authentically yourself or coming up with a persona. Whatever way you want to do it, just make sure you know what that is and what you want to put out there. The people who like my vibe are the people who like my content – you can’t expect everyone to love what you’re creating. I put out what I personally like and what I enjoy – what I think is hot or sexy or funny or silly. That’s what I put out for my people – it’s not going to be for everybody.”
“Stay humble…” says Sister Roma – creative director for Naked Sword. “I think that some people start out new and fresh and they’re sort of star-truck with the whole idea of being a porn-star. Then, having fans and people recognise them – they reach a certain status – that can sometimes change them.”
“We owe everything to the fans. Just like the industry owes everything to the models, the models owe everything to the fans. Just remember to stay humble and to come from a place of gratitude.”

When it comes to taboo fantasies, often what really pushes our buttons are those everyday situations where you wonder – “what if I crossed that line?”
Professional boundaries are often the most challenging to maintain and it’s that sexual tension that Falcon Studios explores in Forbidden.
Five scenes with some of the hottest men in gay porn bringing to life our fantasies of ethics being compromised – psychotherapists, counselors, and attorneys risking everything as they give into temptation, no longer able to deny their forbidden desires.
Directed by Ryan Brian and Steve Cruz, Forbidden features Michael Boston, Eddie Patrick, Vincent O’Reilly, Marcus Knight, Alex Kof, Danny Fantasy, Kane Fox, and Porter Wescott.
In the opening scene, Eddie Patrick is a psychotherapist consulting with his patient, Michael Boston.
There’s a lot of erotic potential in a therapy setting – the power dynamic is palpable, Michael is being vulnerable, opening up, talking about his needs and desires, and Eddie can’t resist taking advantage of that.
When Michael pushes down his jeans to reveal a slutty purple thong, it seems that he came into the session with plans on getting naked with his therapist but Eddie’s professional boundaries didn’t seem that hard to crack.
Michael Boston is known as one of the power-bottoms of gay porn and Eddie takes his time rimming Michael’s smooth fuck-hole before putting his cock to work and giving him every inch of his expertise – creaming his smooth muscle-cunt and then pushing the load deep inside.
The second scene shows Marcus Knight as an Ivy League college tutor trying to improve the grades of student Vincent O’Reilly.
Vincent makes it clear that getting into trouble is what he does best, and Marcus is a teacher who cannot resist his students’ temptations.
Marcus may be the one in the position of authority but it’s Vincent who takes charge – rimming his tutor’s smooth ass and getting him wet and open.
After fucking Marcus, Vincent also wants to ride his tutor’s thick cock, demonstrating that bad boys make the best students.
There’s something compelling about watching a big-dicked bottom riding a cock – Vincent’s hard cock is rhythmically thwacking against his abs as he bounces up and down. It’s mesmerizing.
Next up, Alex Kof is a divorce attorney who is advising Danny Fantasy about the implications of ending his marriage.
Danny and his husband have only been married a year but things aren’t going well as Danny believes his husband has been cheating on him.
“No one plays hardball like I do…” explains Alex, but it’s not clear if he’s talking about his legal prowess or the way that he dicks down cock-hungry twinks like Danny.
We’re fans of dicks of all shapes and sizes, but Alex Kof has a cock that is objectively awesome – thick, long, and a generous foreskin. It’s a work of art, and Danny clearly appreciates spending some quality time with it.
Alex soon has Danny up on the kitchen table, hungrily rimming his smooth boy-hole and getting him ready for the kind of legal advice that leaves you gaping.
In Scene 4, we meet Danny’s husband, Kane Fox. It turns out that Danny’s suspicions of infidelity were well-founded. The twist is that the guy that Kane has been fucking around with is Porter Wescott, Danny’s father.
Kane brings an authenticity to this scene that is exciting to watch – he doesn’t have many lines. Still, there’s a naturalness to the way that he embodies the character of the cheating husband that really helps to bring to life the taboo fantasy of fucking your father-in-law.
While Porter looks great getting fucked, it was a total turn-on to see him slurping his tongue into Kane’s hairy-fuck hole and giving his son-in-law some dick.
Professional networking in the business world is always a good strategy to make some connections to help advance your career and achieve your goals, so what better way to network than to strip off and explore the sexual energy you’ve unlocked with your clients?
While the narrative isn’t exactly clear as to how these men all ended up in the same room together, any opportunity to see a group of men fuck is worth exploring.
This orgy scene gives us Porter Wescott, Michael Boston, Vincent O’Reilly, Marcus Knight, Kane Fox, and Alex Kof – stripping off their underwear, making out, and then getting down to business.
We get treated to more of Vincent’s hard cock slapping against his abs as he rides Marcus’s thick dick, and it’s always worth watching Michael Boston getting dicked down from every angle – including a double-penetration as both Marcus and Kane stretch his muscle-cunt open.
As opposed to a gang-fuck, a group-sex orgy scene works best where all the guys are versatile – effortlessly switching between fucking and getting fucked as the sexual energy flows around the room. That’s what these six men give us, and it’s awesome to watch.
As the cum flies, these men have got the job done. The professional boundaries might have been blurred, but our taboo fantasies have been well and truly fulfilled.
