Standing over ten feet tall the chrome sculpture will be unveiled at the northwest corner of Union Square tonight at 6 p.m. The monument is by sculptor Rob Pruitt, and will stand not far from the final iteration of Warhol’s Factory. For now Andy will be in place until October, but many hope to give the sculpture a permanent home in the park sometime in the future.
