Alexander: The Other Side of Dawn was a NBC made-for-television movie, first telecast May 16, 1977, directed by John Erman. It was a sequel to Dawn: Portrait of a Teenage Runaway, which came out the prior year and starred Eve Plumb (that’s Jan Brady to you, bitches). Blond & pretty Leigh McClosky plays a teenaged boy arriving in Hollywood to become a star, but winds up becoming a male escort. Oh man this is GREAT BAD TELEVISION… and the whole "GAY" thing is over the top. Loved seeing this when I was a kid… HERE’s PART ONE & TWO.
