The Folsom Street Fair has a rich history in San Francisco.

The state of California’s third largest single-day outdoor spectator event (yes, you read that right) and the world’s largest leather showcase has been taking over six blocks in SOMA since 1984 and marks the end of the city’s “Leather Pride Week.”

  1. all the leafs are brown and the sky is gray…. (we have gales and flooding over here) what a lot of sexy men live out in San Francisco

  2. Look like they had a good time. I would like to be there in the future if I know someone in SF.

  3. If you just missed Folsom, you can catch the one day smaller version at the end of July…”Up Your Alley”. Local shops and bars have tie in events and far fewer tourists to gawk and annoy you.

  5. This sort of event appears to be fun , however if the LGBTQA++ community is ever to be taken seriously in society and be accepted as equal we must present ourselves in a much less “side-show” portrayal of ourselves and our community

  6. Completely disagree with that comment. We should not have to conform to what society wants us to be, society should conform to accept what we want to be, that’s the whole idea to me of equal rights.
