Um, no. You’re NOT reading that comment correctly. Mikey said “I’d rather watch the video, no worries of the staged posing.” See, that’s something I’ve noted MANY previous times–that the posing is done for the still photograph sets but when you watch the videos, you don’t see any posing or staring at the camera (except for scenes where it makes sense–like in the set-up and interview bits–or you clearly hear the camera guy or director telling the models to look at the camera).
Back in the olden days, video/film shoots would also have a traditional photographer on hand taking “still” shots that would be used in magazines and you could usually see the shots during the film as a sudden off-screen flash; it was generally too costly to “clean up” the film (pretty much every film prior to around 2000 suffers from this; digital software that cleaned up the flashes became cheaper around then plus the industry’s general switch to digital recording which allowed for instant clean-up).
