   As I mentioned a little while back, I had looked through some older sets and noted a few replies to my comments that I had missed. And for anybody interested (i.e. the person who posted the reply) here’s my response to one of them:

   I had made a comment about “tastes/turn-on’s/kinks/fetishes” and luvthering replied:

   When I read his reply my first thought was actually “fair play, I may have been slightly esoteric or a bit too wordy”.
   I get the “just sex” comment, but this is a site where once in a while (hopefully) somebody says more than “hot” or “pass” LOL, and I also do think there is a mental component to really good sex.
   If anybody does go back and reads the comment (which I do know is HIGHLY unlikely LOL), I can’t think of another way to say it – quite a few things I can more or less get without wanting to actually do it myself.

   I didn’t want to rile up a bunch of guys so I was probably a bit obtuse, but part of luvthering’s reply actually touched upon what led me to my original comment. He wrote “Tall men do it for a lot of guys”. I have no doubt of that. Interesting that he chose that example and not “Shorter men do it for a lot of guys”. First off, I’ve no doubt (especially given that there’s at least one porn site devoted to it) that a significant number of guys are into men shorter than themselves or like seeing that contrast.

   Secondly, I don’t personally believe that the number of guys who would say “into shorter / significantly shorter” would be close to the number who would say “into taller / around the same height”. I am one of the latter category. I can get, or try to get, on a intellectual level, a lot of tastes/turn-on’s/kinks/fetishes, but being into a guy shorter, especially over 6″ shorter than me (6’2″), I honestly can’t even fathom in the slightest. A lot of the guys I see on here are great to look at, but I know I would look at them differently if we were face to face (or face to chest or shoulder) Before the hate starts, LOL, let me say that that’s a starting point, a PREFERENCE, not a hard and fast rule and yes, I know somebody will say “it doesn’t make that much difference when you’re horizontal”, but until I met somebody, saw what they looked like, experienced their personality, heard about their sexual likes and dislikes, wellllll…. i.e. two guys with Squirt profiles that were pretty much identical, but without pictures, contacted me and one was 6′ and height weight proportionate and the other was 5’5″ and height weight proportionate, I would send a “thanks much but no thanks” to the second guy and perhaps strike up a chat with the first to see if there was anything there.

   And one last comment to this post almost equaling “War & Peace” in length LOL, we have all read A LOT of preferences (some of them expressed in a completely out of line manner, or just plain out of line period in my opinion) on here, this is one of mine…. and if you’re going to say it’s not like ink, facial / body hair, the amount of muscle packed on, types of piercings, etc… because they are choices an individual can make….. remember, like height, age isn’t a choice either and I’ve read MANY posts from guys clearly, or indirectly but pretty obviously, stating a preference for the young fresh piece of meat, or at the least, the younger looking guy(s) in a set.
