  1. I agree, not broadcasting on Facebook. With how intrusive & “tattling” it is now, with every damn Like, there are things I don’t even Like when things are posted. Even 2xist. I mean my Mom need not know EVERYTHING! Having grown-up with a Sicilian Mom, Aunts, etc & Catholic to boot, yeah…not happening. I like SOME privacy.

  2. This hookup site is all about anonymity until a member chooses to reveal who they really are, IF ever, to a partner. So suddenly we’re going to REVEAL ALL by “liking” Squirt on Facebook…what advantage is that to us….NONE! It helps Squirt for advertising the popularity of their site, but nothing more. Because of the realities of the world, many of us keep this aspect of our lives on the DL. See how few here give their real name as a ‘username’ and you can see what a non-starter this concept is. Just the slightest thread of who you truly are can be easily researched on the net and anyone can then use this against you. Imagine your primary pic, where to look and your name posted at work! I have buds here that are teachers…they would be fired and their credentials cancelled…their careers over! It failed to get any support on Nov. 28, so why post it again. When Sgt. Coach, by example, starts using his real name here (and with a way we can independently verify it!), then, and only then, come to us and maybe we would reconsider this request. Until then, don’t bother posting this stupid idea again.

  3. Again, I wouldn’t even type the name of that disgusting website if someone cut my balls off, filled them with chili, made me swallow them and then shit them out to repeat the process all over again. Definitely not going to join it, let alone make a big advertisement that I’m a squirt member to the general public.

  4. Go to Wikipedia: “Criticism of Facebook ” and get a quick overview of the endless privacy problems at FB. Hacking, illegal disclosure of private info by FB,etc.
This past Aug.’12, Facebook settled with the FTC over exposing private information WITHOUT the REQUIRED legal consent.
Google “How to hack a private Facebook page”. Sites like “101Hacker.com” have easy how to phish directions with easy links to the files you need to download to invade someone’s “private??” info.

To quote from Wiki: “You create a ‘connection’ to most of the things that you click a ‘like button’ for, and Facebook will treat those relationships as public information.”

Given the privacy issues, why would Squirt even suggest the potential sacrifice of it’s members’ identity just to get free advertising? I think a public explanation of it’s attitude is due the members!
BTW, your Canadian Government has caught FB numerous times violating your privacy laws as well.

  5. This is one of the few times that reading the Response section of this site has been worthwhile. The majority of the comments left by members regarding this topic are thoughtful, well researched, topical and relevant. I totally agree with those posted by ‘behairy’. I was quite impressed and could not have expressed my thoughts more clearly than he did. Linking FB to Squirt is ridiculus and goes against the entire premise of joining sites like Squirt. Nothing is safe and confidential on FB so link the two at your own risk and possible peril.

  6. Do not agree.. This could be a danger to us all. The sooner the Squirt account on facebook is closed the safer it will be for all of us.

  7. I consider this to be a stupid idea. If the Squirt Web Site is Linked to Facebook I suggest that all members of Squirt remove from this site any photo’s of themself that shows there identity (Face, Body Piercings, Tatts etc). This also applies to great care being needed in the video chat rooms.
In my opinion linking this site to Facebook will also give full access to our cottages and cruising areas which could cause many problems for us and could result in their closure.
It seems obvious to me that the idea of linking this site to Facebook has not been thought through correctly and as soon as the Facebook Account is closed the better it will be for us all.

  8. Read about how Grindr in Australia was hacked and over 100,000+ members personal info was not only exposed, but changed by the hacker, “Mr. Nasty”, a 18 YO. Sidney kid. See: smh.com.au>technology.security. That’s the Sydney Morning Herald. Their viewing of the hacker’s website showed that Grindr’s members linking to Twitter(same difference as Facebook) made the job easier for the hacker to get in. A few member’s links made EVERYONE vulnerable. He wasn’t prosecuted because nobody came forward (DUH!!! Why out yourself so publically), but if you lost your livelihood, what compensation would you get out of a young kid with no assets? So a few Squirt member’s decision to ‘like’ Squirt could potentially “Out” everyone. Each of us has the right to our own privacy, not a few to decide for all. All it takes is some of the young and naive members to make links to expose us all to disaster. This is a terrible idea!!

  9. More likely, it already happened. With so many eager “facebookers” more likely a few hundreds must’ve “liked” the page already. Time to change profiles and find a new hook up site
