   • Um, “legal age” is NOT “16 yrs and above” everywhere. In the US, ANYONE under the age of 18 appearing in sexually explicit material is considered “underage” and the following is applicable: 1) Filmmakers/photographers using such models/actors are subject to criminal prosecution; 2) ANYONE viewing such material (whether knowingly or not) is subject to criminal prosecution. Furthermore, the jurisdiction of such prosecutions is based on where the VIEWER/BUYER lives, not where the material was produced or the legal age where the material was produced.
     As such, if either of these models/actors are actually under the age of 18, as far as US criminal prosecutors are concerned, this set constitutes kiddie porn.
     Maybe you’ve forgotten the Tracy Lords case back in the 1990s? Lords was a very well-known porn star who, when she decided to move to legitimate (ie, non-porn) acting, claimed that many of her films had been done when she was under the age of 18 and that her producers and directors had arranged to make fake IDs for her so she could do porn. This led to the studios who owned those films to pull and destroy any unsold copies from video stores and their warehouses (people–mainly men–were urged to destroy copies they had to avoid having kiddie porn charges added if the videos were found in their possession while being arrested or investigated for other charges; a full list of the “illegal” titles was made available). While many people pointed out that most of these films had been done years earlier and Lords had become a big enough porn star to have filed legal charges against the producers and directors while still doing porn, she’d only made the claims after deciding that she wanted a non-porn career and the easiest way to make the break with porn was to make the claims. Even the folks who produced many of Brooke Shields’ early films–up to 1981’s “Endless Love”–claim they had to do a lot of workarounds to have her character in sexual situations without exposing Shields herself to even the slightest suggestion of nudity or sexual activity which was a bit tough considering she played a child prostitute in “Pretty Baby,” spent a lot of time in supposedly topless scenes in “The Blue Lagoon” and was supposed to lose her virginity to her boyfriend in “Endless Love” (the cinematographers and directors said all those “sexual” scenes were filmed using body doubles and camera trickery but, apparently, the MPAA believed the initial print of “Endless Love” so convincing that the film was threatened with an “X” rating).
     Now, you may live in an area where it’s legal to have consensual sex with a 16 year old but, if you record that sex and upload it to the web, you may find yourself being prosecuted by a jurisdiction where where that consensual sex is deemed “child pornography.” Also, decades ago, there was actually NO minimum legal age in several European countries and actual child pornography was made and sold and when foreign tourists would buy the material and take it home and it was discovered by customs officials, they’d be arrested and prosecuted for possession.

    • Hate to break it to you but that “gay/bi world is starting to emerge at a far earlier age” thing is not likely to have any affect on child porn laws. Straight teens have been having sex for centuries but straight porn (produced in the US, at least) still requires them to be at least 18 to have sex in front of the camera. It also should go without saying that gay porn stars were obviously having sex before they started their careers because even the youngest on-screen bottoms were taking it up the ass without much difficulty. (You could only watch so many of Kevin Williams’ films, for instance, before his “I’ve never done this before” lines started becoming utterly unbelievable.)
      As to your point about circumcision, don’t count on it. As we’ve seen of late in the US (especially with regard to same-sex marriage but also female contraceptives as part of mandatory health insurance plans), religious folks are going to fight tooth-and-nail to keep their religious practices as sacrosanct (female genital mutilation is NOT a part of any known *religious* ceremony or practice; it’s solely alleged as a “cultural” practice and it’s currently practiced mostly in African countries by people of various religious faiths–Muslim, Christian, animist).
