More outreach to the new younger members here that could use some mentoring on a variety of topics that they won’t hear from any other sources in their lives. Politically things have improved along with public perception, but it is more one of tolerance than acceptance. Occasionally hitting on these issues as we scan hot men reminds us to get involved. Our quality of life as gay men is still not assured and still needs diligence and commitment.

    It would also be nice to have a better feedback/suggestion system at Squirt as others have said. Somewhere to suggest topics or news to be covered. Every organization benefits from feedback. Here, usually when you email Squirt, you get a bland stock response of “they’ll forward it to development” without any further response or change. After a few of those, you give up. Companies that don’t evolve go stale and fade away.

    My only real gripe is how Squirt tech is so out of date. When I first joined on my smartphone, the desktop version worked perfectly and made it a great site. Then new Squirt split it in two. The desktop site still runs on dinoFlash which Adobe abandoned on mobile before the change. Without Flash on mobile you can’t IM, see the guys vids or even some of the recent DS videos here on Squirt. The world has gone mobile, but Squirt clings to the PC. You need to update this site. You see a lot of new members that are 18+, but rarely do you see them post here. I think that’s because they are exclusivly mobile and they don’t deal with desktops sites that aren’t mobile friendly. Many older guys that I’ve known here quit the site because they were mobile only as well. I quit paying dues because of this. Restore the full site on mobile. PC companies are going broke because of plummeting sales, so why have your prime site tied to a sinking ship. Restore desktop to mobile!
