Each artist had the mission of talking to a specific social ”group”. Antonio Vaz Lemes was asked to make a video performance about the “gay world”. This is the video.

Comes off as a bad “art film”. Instead it makes you wonder what Lemes thinks of gays. Aaron Copeland thought that Guarnieri was one of the most original composers of our time. Brazilian music can be so sensual and Guarnieri, like Villa-lobos, was a great promoter of using native inspiration in his compositions, so between the two this should have been an easy task. The pianist was more interested in promoting himself than the premise of the concept. Fabricio is smouldering hot and anyone who knows gay men would know that it’s Fabricio, not the pianists endless hand shots that tell the storyline. Fabricio, the other hunk and a different comp by Guarnieri could have made a seriously sexy video…this failed. More Fabricio and dump the rest.

I have to agree with sdtony56, Fabricio is hot, masculine, sexy and has character that is so nice to see after looking at many of the hairless young guys you tend to show. How refreshing!!! The music was very, very distracting and didn’t fit into the theme at all.
I watched this without sound (no choice, sound card crashed) so I wasn’t distracted by the music. Fabrico is my idea of heaven. I want to die and go to him. But the ‘bad art film’ is just that. Even though this is a sex site, I do enjoy the bit of psuedo-high-brow that lends a sense of class to porn. This doesn’t. More Fabrico, less piano.
It proves that even there is some space for classic music besides technico, dancing music in the “gay world”, they still need a hot male body to promote it.
Fabricio is indeed hot, but angst and anger certainly don’t speak to my gay world. A great idea that failed. I hope this isn’t an indication of the direction “art pieces” are taking!
“Gay World” ? Well it has quite a lot to do with mine, though I dare say there are viewers who will criticise this particular view. The playing is brilliant and though Mr.Temes is a gorgeous hunk and a delight to the eye his T shirt ripping is better developed than his demolition skills : )
