Having collected the trophy for Best Bottom at the Grabby Awards Europe, we caught up with Duke London for a behind-the-scenes look at his life in the adult entertainment industry.

Congratulations on your win of Best Bottom at the Grabby Awards Europe – how did it feel to be recognised in that way?

It was totally unexpected, actually. This is all super-new to me – I wasn’t expecting to win anything in my first year of content-creating.

The category that I won was also surprising. I don’t bottom a huge amount in my content. I guess the cum-guzzler category doesn’t exist – that would have been ideal – but I’m super-happy and super-grateful.

I think it’s great that the Grabbys are recognising independent creators. It’s great to be recognised for the work that we do – it’s fucking hard work!

You said that this was your first year in the industry? Was this your first experience of the Grabbys?

Yes, first Grabbys. I started in April 2024, so it’s been just over a year now.

The Grabbys was nothing like I’ve ever experienced before. It was crazy. I mean, you’re in a hotel full of porn-stars. In every room there’s action, things going on, camera people running from room to room, orgies left, right and center. It’s a lot, right?

I think I filmed about 20 scenes in the week that I was there – which is a lot – plus I took part in Hung Young Brit’s biggest orgy ever filmed – 35 guys. It was just incredible.

What led you to explore a career in the world of adult entertainment? Why was this something that you thought you’d take a crack at?

I had quite a strict religious background where sex wasn’t talked about. I left that when I was 24 and since then I’ve been exploring my sexuality.

This time last year, I was just going around London, sucking dick. I just had so much fun doing that. I made an album of photos on my hook-up app – my Top 10 cum-facials – and it got a lot of attention – some of these guys were really heavy shooters. So I made a Twitter and realised that there’s a lot of people who are really into cum.

A lot of content creators view oral sex as part of the warm-up to three different positions of fucking. I really wanted to make sucking dick its own kind of thing.

I’m someone who struggles with not being authentic so I didn’t want to sit down and try and figure out some kind of a persona for myself.

You touched on everything that goes into content creation and how much work it actually involves. Did you know that coming into it? Had you done your research before launching your channels?

My background is in branding and marketing – it felt quite natural to switch into work mode and analyse the platforms and the content to figure out what would work best.

I’ll often wank to the videos that I’m editing – not because I’m in them but because I get turned on by the content. I also really enjoy all the feedback I get when I post content to social media and the fan-sites – knowing that guys are wanking to your content is a total turn-on. When the money starts coming in, that also makes it interesting. So there’s a lot of fun for me throughout the process of content-creation.

But there are also weeks when the last thing you want to be doing is editing a video or thinking about content schedules. But that’s like any job, right? At times, we all get a bit tired and burnt out but we take a week off and then we carry on.

You contributed to our recent article about advice for getting started in the adult entertainment industry. One of the pieces of advice that you shared was to “be part of the community” – to ask other content creators for help and advice. Who are some of the guys that have helped guide your path in the industry?

The main one is Andy Lee. He sometimes gets a lot of stick for gay-baiting, but he has been the most humble and kindest guy. Even though he’s a big name in the industry, he’s always got time for everyone. He genuinely wants to see everyone do well.

I filmed first with Ryan Lee, his brother. After that, Andy messaged me and invited me to his studio for a group bukake. That was one of my biggest pieces of content.

Another person is Paul Stag. I always call him the granddad of the porn industry – what he doesn’t know isn’t worth knowing. He’s so kind-hearted and he’s an icon in the industry. I wouldn’t be where I am today without him.

The other one that I want to mention is Aaron Trainer. I went out to the States last year and Aaron introduced me to loads of content creators. Even now, he messages me about once a month to see how I’m doing. I now do that with content creators that are just starting out.

What are some of the mistakes that you’ve made along the way or things that you wished you’d learned earlier?

When I started out, I was doing more anal – there’s obviously so much more prep involved for anal than just sucking dick. I went to America and I just had back to back fucking scenes – I wasn’t eating properly and my body was just fucked up. I got super-sick and had to come home early. That taught me an important lesson about self-care.

I also realised that I didn’t enjoy fucking as much as sucking dick. That helped me to focus on doing what I love.

The other thing was that when I first started out, I would take it really personally if I reached out to content creators for collabs and they didn’t get back to me. Now, I get that I’m not some people’s type. If I walk into a sex-club, I’m not going to attract every single person in the room.

How does your work in the adult entertainment industry shape the way that you experience intimacy off camera?

I’m living my fantasies through my fan sites. I’m having the best time. I’m doing things that I would never have had the opportunity to do, with people that I’d never have had the opportunity to do it with. There’s a huge amount of personal satisfaction I get from doing what I’m doing through porn and I’m really grateful for that.

Because I don’t film much fucking content any more, I now pretty much keep that for my personal life.

People always ask me how my porn work affects my relationships, but I’m single – it’s a hypothetical question.

What’s on the vision board for Duke London?

I’d like to go to Brazil at the end of the year – I just need to book my plane tickets and go and fucking do it.

I’ve also got a real drive to push forward this idea that oral sex is is sex and really show people that oral sex is really hot.

I want to be known as the world’s biggest cum-guzzler. That’s my goal – I really want to make that a thing.

I’m planning to host a tour of public bukkakes in cities around the world. I have a no-loads-refused policy. I’m not about dick-size or body-type – I literally have no limitations. But it’s still a lot of work to organise.

Plus I’m looking forward to the next Grabby Awards Europe – I’m excited to see who will be the next Best Bottom. I love to see people do well – I’m really excited to be able to give back to the industry. We should stick together more, we should share advice more, we should be more open and honest about our struggles. We can work together as a community – there’s enough to go around, we can all have a piece of the pie.
