They capture a moment in time. Like a moving snapshot.

Deeptongue, you ever see those porn scenes where the “trailer” looks incedibly hot, but the actual video is really a whole lot of boring in between those few seconds of hot?

A gif is the same idea, except you don’t have to foward through the whole video to get to them. Plus they’re fun.

Especially the last one. I need to be fucked like that.
