   And yes, for the record, I know I’ve not been perfect. I do, however, try my best to keep my tone positive and respectful (even dealing with trolls like HornLakeCocksucker a while back).

23. hrychstlvr69–I didn’t see the apparently ugly back and forth you refer to, but I know exactly what you are talking about. I’ve seen it before, too. Every point you’ve made makes sense. A minor point – don’t think I said “ugly back and forth”, I used the word “melodrama”. usechris said it best in his comment on it – “flare up”. You’re absolutely right, it wasn’t by any means one of the worst, more like (to me anyway) just another “here we go again”. Maybe they’re so regular, or semi-regular, that when a mild one comes along most guys just shrug and ignore it.

      In the Brock Banks set I read (1) a comment, (2) a reply that, like I said, I didn’t read as an attack but a different point of view or maybe (God forbid LOL) an attempt at a conversation, (3) a rebuttal that wasn’t ugly, but what I would call defensive in a pretty mild mold with some attempts at wit, maybe just a touch snarky, then (4) a further reply, that looked to me, like an attempt at a genuine conversation, then BANG, (5) somebody jumps in with the profane attack(s). I just found it tedious, unnecessary & unfortunate. It was reading usechris’s comment further down that actually triggered my comment in this set.

      Fair point about a mute option.
