If you like to combine travel and a bit of sexed-up fun, London is a destination that should probably be on your wish-list for 2023.
The UK gay community is a pretty diverse bunch – whatever you’re into you will probably find a party that delivers what you’re looking for.
Here’s a selection of upcoming events that have caught our eye.
Hard On
For many years, Hard On party in London has been setting the global standard for a quality sexed-up club night.
Run by queer nightlife icon, Suzie Krueger, Hard On generally happens once a month. The current venue is Union, which is a club in Vauxhall.
This is a club night where there’s music, but the sex comes first – it’s wall-to-wall fucking and fisting, so be prepared to get involved.
There are also international editions of Hard On – the fetish hotspots of Antwerp, Berlin, and Maspalomas regularly feature on the calendar.
Jamie HP
Tracing their origins back to the days of The Hoist – a fetish sex-club that helped to define what that experience can be – the Jamie HP team deliver weekly sex parties in London.
On Saturday nights it’s TFN – Totally Fucking Nude. It’s a naked party, obviously, held in the Covent Garden Health Spa, which is a bathhouse.
On Sunday afternoons it’s SBN – Stark Bollock Naked. This is another naked party, held in the club Union in Vauxhall. This one starts at 2 PM and runs until 10 PM. If you don’t want to wander around completely naked, or maybe if you have an underwear fetish, you can turn up at 5 PM for Nearly Bollock Naked. This means that after 5 PM, they’ll let you keep your briefs or a jockstrap on if you want, but it’s essentially still a naked party.
Fetish Week
Happening in July, London’s Fetish Week is a celebration of all things kink. It’s two weeks of parties and events, so you need your stamina for this one.
The great thing about London’s Fetish Week is that it welcomes all kinds of fetish aficionados – whatever kink you’re into.
Life beyond London?
There’s obviously a lot more to the UK than just London, but you may need to be a bit strategic if you want to time your travels with some regional raunch.
Brighton
Brighton is a coastal city that’s within reach of London and officially has the highest concentration of queer people in the UK. There’s lots of bars and parties in Brighton, but if you like beefy boys with a bit of bounce, then the Brighton Bear Weekend in July should probably be on your radar. While we’re used to seeing bears in Key West, British bears are spectacular in their native habitat. Brighton has a naked beach so it’s a unique opportunity to see bears frolicking in the surf.
Glasgow
Glasgow is the edgier side of Scotland. Start your visit off right with a trip to the local gay sauna in Glasgow. A Squirt.org favourite: The Pipeworks Glasgow offers many parties weekly, including Wild Wednesdays and Naked Thursdays. For those seeking a clothes-on experience, The Polo Lounge in Glasgow hosts Queer Fridays, Sinner Saturdays parties, Diva Nights and more.
