I caught up with Matt and Slawek - the guys behind Polish sports-fetish brand #AASSSOXX - to talk sport, sex, and socks.
You first met by hooking-up online - did you ever imagine that a random hook-up might lead to a serious relationship and starting a business together?
Slawek: Not at all! It’s no secret that the main purpose of our chat and meet-up was just sex. Everything went in an unexpected way. He stayed for the night, and since then we’ve spent every night together. Starting a business was just a total fantasy. We were both interested in fashion, we had some experience, I have a family tailoring tradition. But when we met, we were both working in different places - Matt is a restaurateur and I’m an engineer. We’ve still kept our full-time jobs while we run #AASSSOXX on the side.
Matt: As a community, we meet most new people on hook-up apps. But it’s a lottery. The chat might be great and the dick pic impressive, but it still might not work when you meet up. We were lucky that together we found a great relationship and a business - even though I just wanted hard sex.
Did you know from the beginning that you both shared a fetish for sports gear?

I get ideas at random times - even when we’re fucking a thought might pop into my head and I know what style or colour would turn me on even more during our next hook-up. It only takes one thought to trigger a whole avalanche of ideas - in no time, out of nowhere, a new collection is ready.
You’ve said that you’d like to see Zayn Malik or David Beckham in your products. Which products would you like to dress Zayn and Beckham in?
Slawek: I’d want to dress David in Eastboy shiny nylon pants. He has a typical British appearance, and these clothes would make him a raw chav, fucking machine. As for Zayn, well, my eyes just wander to his crotch area. What’s the best way to satisfy my curiosity as to what’s in his boxers? Matt: When you’re wearing our clothes, you want other guys to look at you. You want to feel desire.
