Pheonix Fellington wants to fulfil your desires

Born in Detroit, Pheonix Fellington filmed his first porn scenes in 2017. After working with a number of studios, with the launch of his new site – Play Fella – Pheonix is now taking a different tack on distributing his content and engaging with his fans.

I caught up with Pheonix for a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to build your own porn brand.

The origin story

“There’s never a right time to launch something like this…” says Pheonix, when I ask him what led him to launch this new project. “I started this journey because I love working in porn, and I want to have a chance to show my fans my creative side. I started taking porn photos and recording videos myself a little over a year ago. I had a thought that kept growing.”

“I’ve loved working with all of the different companies that I’ve had the chance to. I’ve made a lot of fun memories and content, and I’m sure I’ll be making more in the future.”

“I’m starting Play Fella because I’d like to start producing and directing all of my own content. I’m going to start with small productions and gradually grow over time. I just launched this past November, so it’s only the very beginning.”

“I’ve grown to love being behind the camera as much as I love being in front of it. I’m new to working behind-the-scenes and running a website. Right now, I want to be on my own and explore my creativity. I have a lot to learn in business and production.”

We’re not a porn company. It’s our lifestyle.

“That tag-line means two things…” when I ask him about the description he’s using for Play Fella. “I’m not a porn company, and I want to produce more than just porn. At the moment, I’m just one model – I run a one-man show. I don’t think I deserve to claim the title of ‘porn company’ right now.”

“There’s a photo-set on Play Fella that’s a good example of what I mean when I talk about producing more than just porn. It’s called Lexian, The Wanderer. I love to mix nudity with art. Nudity doesn’t always need to be portrayed sexually. The body is art itself. I love porn and making sex videos, but I also see an art to it.”

“A big inspiration for me was watching the orgy scenes shot in Netflix’s Sense 8 series. That’s art.”

“The content that I’m currently creating is sex. I don’t film dialogue or b-roll. I try to film in nice outdoor locations or nice rooms. In addition to that, I’ll always upload my homemade-style videos and solos.”

“I love when the chemistry builds between me and the other models – it makes the connection better on film.“

“Right now it’ll be very similar…” when I ask Pheonix how Play Fella compares to fan-subscription sites such as JustFor.Fans and OnlyFans. “I’ll be producing a ton of my own solos. I’ll start shooting with other models as time goes on and the site grows. I have another pornstar who has agreed to work with me as I launch my site. He’s going to be uploading several exclusive videos to my site as well. He will still run his JustFor.Fans/OnlyFans normally, but I’ll be able to get exclusive videos from him as well. Ideally, I would like two models to add to the site.”

“I have a list of models that I have great chemistry with, so they’re the guys that I try and work with the most. They know it, for sure – I’ve been planning this with everyone for a while.”

“I just hope that everyone loves what I’m presenting to them. If they don’t, I want people to comment immediately. I want my members to use the comments section of my website to tell me exactly what they want to see. I’m always open to fulfil their desires. I want them to cum. I want them to love it.”

Plans for the future

“I’ve got a list…” confirms Pheonix, when I ask what’s on his agenda for the months ahead.

• – Improve my photography skills
• – Improve my videography skills
• – Improve the design of my website
• – Be extremely interactive with my members
• – Create events for my members and also the fans who haven’t been able to sign up. I want to meet them all at some point. I’m much more fun in person.
• – Get established and have fun in my work. Porn is always supposed to remain fun.

“I don’t want to get myself worked up too much about the future. I have my goals, but I’m in the moment right now.”
