I caught up with Brandon Wilde to talk about music, underwear, and tigers.
The heroes
“For starters, my mother is my hero…” replies Brandon, when I ask him about some of the big influences in his life and career. “She’s always been there to support me.”
“It was just a few months after I’d turned 18 when I struck out on my own. The first place I stayed was with a girlfriend, from my hometown in Downey. I ended up sleeping on her kitchen floor on a baby crib mattress for a couple months to start off my journey. That was intense – it got a little rough there for a while.”
“Chi Chi LaRue discovered me, and Jason Sechrest became my agent. Jason let me stay with him – he became a bit of a father figure to me.”
“Los Angeles is such a big city – it’s a place that so many get lost in. I’ve been so lucky to make all the contacts and friends that I have over these years. Without adult movies, and living my Hollywood dreams, I don’t think I’d be anywhere near as happy and radiant as I am today.”
“My first porn crush was Brent Everett – he’s now my amazing friend. Brent has helped me out so much and has been such an amazing friend and support to me.”
The spirit animal
“I dropped out of high school to work with a tiger rescue group…” explains Brandon, when I ask if he’s planning to get any more tiger-related tattoos. “I was working at Joe Exotic – a wildlife park that was based in Oklahoma but toured the US.”
“I got to nurse tiger cubs. The experience was such an important part of my evolution. Having had that experience was a huge part of what gave me the courage to go to California to live my dreams. Tigers will always be a special part of me.”
The business
“That’s the art in making your own style and using your own creative voice…” confirms Brandon, when I ask if he enjoys the entrepreneurial side of the adult entertainment industry.
“We have the world at our fingertips. We live in a time where we’re all trying to market ourselves, to create an identity, and to be the biggest star that we can be in everything we do – whether that’s in school, our daily lives, or whatever dreams we’re pursuing.”
“I think for anyone trying to build a brand, grow followers and promote content, the biggest struggle is staying relevant, being current and on trend. But the most important thing is to convey that to our followers in ways that they can enjoy and engage with, while still maintaining our creative integrity.”
The music
“My passion in music is quite extreme…” explains Brandon, when I ask him about his creative outlet. “I’ve found a new way to express myself – it feels quite euphoric.”
“I’m currently working on new stuff, but it’s too early to talk about it right now. Stay connected with me on social media – I promise that it will be worth the wait.”
The underwear
“Honestly, I constantly change my mind on it from day to day…” says Brandon, when our conversation inevitably turns to underwear.
“I really love sleeping naked. However, there are times I need some security around my nuts, so I’ll totally sleep in some comfy Marco Marco briefs – but I’ll generally take them off at some stage during the night.”
“In the gym, I am all about being comfortable and secure, but I’m not above wearing something cute to get all the boys staring as I pump that iron.”
“When it comes to other guys, I don’t have a huge preference on what they’re wearing. I like guys to be themselves and to be authentic. I like a mix though, so change it up! Keep my Gemini mind excited with all those lustful desires – if I’m interested in you, you’re going to get lucky.”
The future
“Primarily, I’m going to be working on new music and really highlighting that part of my career…” says Brandon, when I ask him about his plans for the months ahead. “Honestly, just trying to be grateful and keep telling myself that I can do whatever it is that’s challenging me, or whatever I’m working on at the time.”
“I am my own blessing and honestly, I’ve struggled my ass off. I’m ready for the next chapter. I’ve got to keep visualising myself as a fucking rock star, and that I am going to change the world – one heart at a time.”

It’s ironic, I’ve spoken my mind here many times over the years and been chastised. But the way this young man was ripped to pieces here, wow! He’s handsome and trying to find his way in life.
