Colby Tucker is ready to reveal his full potential

I caught up with Colby Tucker to talk acting, awards, and being mentored by Chi Chi LaRue.

The origin story

“Chi Chi LaRue was definitely my key influence for entering the porn industry…” explains Colby, when I ask him about how he got his start in the business.

“I was at a club – The Saloon – in Minneapolis, when Chi Chi was the DJ. A guest porn-star in town brought me to the DJ booth and introduced me to Chi Chi and we hit it off instantly. The next day, we had coffee and talked porn and Chi Chi was like – Why the hell aren’t you doing this yet?”

“We also talked about our similar interest in horror films, specifically Scream. Chi Chi is friends with the writer of the films and introduced me to him, which was great.”

“Chi Chi helped me build a huge platform for my success in the industry. I worked with Noir Male – the studio that Chi Chi directs for – to start my career. That first scene. and for many scenes after, Chi Chi gave me guidance on being in front of the camera that I still use today – especially when it comes to recognising where the cameras are and just letting loose and delivering a hot scene.”

Award-winning porn

“Winning the Grabby Award for Best Supporting Actor was really rewarding…” confirms Colby, when I ask him about the recognition he’s been receiving. He picked up the Grabby Award for his performance in The Rental House for Men.com.

“Since entering the industry, I love the acting component of the films. I’m hoping that my win for Best Supporting Actor shows that I can bring much more to the table when it comes to performing, along with giving the fans a little more of a surprise when they see the roles and the characters I can really get into.”

The business of porn

“I’ve definitely picked up my game when it comes to using social media – especially Instagram and Twitter…” says Colby, when I ask about how he tackles the entrepreneurial side of working in the adult entertainment industry.

“I try to use Instagram stories to interact with the fans and respond to messages, and I try to keep a personal connection with as many as I can.”

“When it comes to fan-subscription sites, I haven’t started one yet. I was starting to make personal films with other guys in the industry when I’d visit Los Angeles for work, but with the disruption caused by Covid-19 I haven’t been able to travel and make films with other guys. It’s hopefully coming soon.”

“I’ve been pretty lucky and have worked with many of my porn crushes already, but there’s a few that I still haven’t. I think it would be really hot to work with or make fan-subscription videos with Rico Marlon, Lucio Saints, Cade Maddox, Ricky Larkin, Matthew Camp, Cutler X, and many many more!”

The underwear

“The underwear I put on totally depends on what I’m doing…” explains Colby, when our conversation inevitably turns to underwear.

“Day-to-day, I wear soft-fabric briefs – I like the feel of them. When I’m at the gym, I either wear tighter-fitting briefs or a jock – depending on the workout.”

“When it comes to other guys, I’ve always had such a fetish for guys free-balling in gym shorts or sweatpants, or at last something loose enough that I can see a good bulge and their dick flopping around.”

The future for Colby

“I always try to set high goals for myself…” says Colby, when I ask him what his plans are for the months ahead. “Even if the goals are something as simple as building off every scene that I do.”

“I want to work with the ‘big dogs’ of the industry, and make a great fucking scene with them and show my potential.”

“My agent, Chris Crisco, is really great – he recently got me booked to be in a music video. “I’m working on extending my goals outside of the box.”

“I’ve also been working on a couple porn feature film scripts. Chi Chi and Marc Macnamara know that I have fun ideas for script-writing – it’s a new hobby of mine. I love being on the porn set – I love the excitement of it.”
