Hard On is a London institution – it’s a monthly sex party run by queer nightlife icon, Suzie Krueger.
The October edition of Hard On was the club’s 19th anniversary – a milestone that was marked by teaming up with groundbreaking porn studio Treasure Island Media.
“Our joint birthday party with Treasure Island Media was a sell-out fuckfest…” confirmed Suzie Krueger. “Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with us. We’ll make sure next year’s is even filthier.”
For Treasure Island Media, this was an opportunity to introduce its new European team.
“This club is a precious and important space for people like us…” said Paul Morris – the founder of Treasure Island Media. “Let there be plenty more birthdays to come.”
Always willing to report from the frontline, we were there to see it all go down.
The venue was Union – a club in Vauxhall, occupying a space beneath the railway arches. Doors opened at 10 PM, and it got busy pretty quickly – the men of London were eager to get amongst it.
Union is one of those clubs that is tight for space, so that makes the logistics of everyone getting out of their street clothes and into their sex party clothes a bit comedic. Once you’re through security, you pretty much have to strip off, stuff your belongings into a bin-bag, and then take that through to the coat-check. It’s a slightly chaotic process that’s all part of the fun – no one here is taking themselves too seriously.
What I love about Hard On events is the diversity of the guys there. Pretty much all ages and all body-types are represented.
I’m always impressed by young guys at a sex party like Hard On. When I was younger, I didn’t have the confidence to explore this kind of event. But there seems to be plenty of young filthy fuckers in London who know what they want.
I also really love checking out what everyone is wearing at Hard On. Some level of fetish-wear is required but the door policy is pretty relaxed – this isn’t Berlin. There was plenty of leather and rubber, lots of guys in harnesses, a number of guys in wrestling singlets, heaps of guys in just a jockstrap, and plenty of guys just wandering around naked.
There were two main spaces – a bar/DJ/dance-floor area, and then a play area decked out with numerous slings. Sex was happening everywhere, but in the play area it was wall-to-wall fucking.
At around 2 AM, the Treasure Island Media men took to the stage for a show.
Aymeric DeVille, Marco Napoli, and Ardan James kicked the action off and were soon also involving plenty of the watching crowd. The show climaxed with Aymeric blowing a big load all over Marco’s face. Quality.
Tommy Trash is the man in charge of the revamped operations of Treasure Island Media in Europe.
“Having been going to Hard On for years, I can tell you this was one of the best…” confirms Tommy. “Everywhere you looked, hundreds of men were fucking and partying and letting themselves go – it’s exactly what we hoped for.”
The first results of the refocused direction of Treasure Island Media Europe will hit our screens in the coming weeks – new stand-alone scenes produced by Jake English are ready to be released, and a full-length movie is also in the pipeline.
