  1. Very moving. My grandfather fought in the First World War, my father in the Second. Let’s pray for a world without a Third.

  2. Our flag is born aloft not with the Canadian breezes but with the breath of every single Canadian soldier who fights, has fought or has died defending Her! Lest We Forget, Lest We Forget!!

  3. Thank you for reminding us of the freedoms these brave men and women fought so hard for and gave so many lives to. If not for them we might not have the right to live our lives as we do today in a society that is getting more and more tolerant everyday. There will always be injustices in this world perpetrated by despots and tyrants and thank you again to our men and women who will and are standing up for what is right

  4. thanks for the wonderful post SQUIRT nice to see some respect on this day, and thanks to all who serve our country!!!

  5. Very grateful for those who fought for us to this day, so that we can live the life we do…always remembered!

  7. Wonderful tributes, all so well-deserved.

Let’s remember, too, all the men who loved men, who fought and died for our right to do so.

  8. thanks for reminding us of the price paid for our rights and freedoms. I was in the military in the seventies for a brief four years. It would have been longer but at the the time they had a problem with cock suckers.
