I caught up with Michael Torres for a behind-the-scenes look at his online life.
Navigating the pandemic
“It’s been super-rough for me…” admits Michael, who is based in Chicago. “Before the pandemic hit, I was already having a hard time with bills – I’d already exhausted my savings.”
“The day that they announced that Chicago was going into lockdown, my car was repossessed. Things just really went downhill.”
“I’m scraping by, but I’m still behind on everything. I love my family, but they’re not able to financially support me. It’s the gay community that has really stepped up for me – my community is my rock.”

“Obviously, the pandemic has made it really tough to create new material for my fan-subscription channels…” confirms Michael, when we talk about the many challenges presented by Covid-19. “I’m really fortunate to have a loyal fanbase – many of them have been with me from the days when I was working in New York City as a bartender. I appreciate each and every one of my fans.”
“Thankfully, I’ve connected with a few other guys here in Chicago and we’ve started working together to create content. There’s more on the way.”
“One of the guys that I’ve been filming with is one of my neighbours. My subscribers really seem into that and there’s always a lot of requests to see more action with the neighbour. Lots of fans have been suggesting that we should get together as a couple. But that fantasy isn’t going to work out, unfortunately – I’m going to be moving to Fort Lauderdale soon, so I’ll have to find myself a new neighbour to hook up with.”
“I know a lot of the big-name porn stars – I’m good friends with a number of them – but they’re not high on my list to film with. If it happens then it happens, but I much prefer amateur encounters – filming with amateur guys. It just feels more authentic to me.”
Feeling sexy?
“When I want to feel sexy, I wear swimming trunks…” says Michael, when I ask him what he likes to wear. “It makes me laugh, but wearing swimming trunks makes me feel sexy – I wear them instead of underwear all the time.”
Looking ahead
“I’m a chameleon…” says Michael, when I ask what the next few months might hold in store for him. “I’ll survive this, and whatever other challenges are ahead.”
“I have a clear vision of the future – that’s what keeps me going when things aren’t really going to plan.”
