I caught up with MagicMike for a behind-the-scenes look at his online life.

The origin story

“It wasn’t an overnight decision…” says MagicMike, when I ask what led him to start exploring a career in the adult entertainment industry.

“Over time, there were multiple factors that played a role.”

“I was born in India – where homosexuality is still taboo. My parents, family, and friends haven’t been able to accept my sexuality. My work in adult entertainment is a way for me to feel accepted as a gay man.”

“People sometimes think that India would be a sex-positive place – it’s one of the oldest civilisations, and the Kama Sutra is an ancient text about sex and sexuality. But the reality is very different. The porn industry in India is very marginalised – it only exists in one state – and is still very straight dominated. Gay porn never gets talked about or mentioned.”

“I constantly used to look for someone who looked like me or someone I could relate to in Indian gay porn – it just didn’t exist.”

“In my teen years, I realised that I was hung, and also that I was strictly a top. I felt like a unicorn – I didn’t know anyone else who way gay, hung, and a top. I felt like I was abnormal. It was a small gay community in the city where I grew up.”

“Getting started in the world of adult entertainment was kind of an accident. During the pandemic lockdown last year, I started filming myself in my bathroom – swinging my boner in slow motion – and uploading it to Twitter. That’s how it started.”

“Today, I feel like I have a responsibility to represent my country and every gay man who looks a bit like me and feels like he can relate to me. I’m here to give those guys the representation that I didn’t see when I was growing up. I’m here to show gay guys from India that they’re not abnormal and that they too can exist and enjoy sex.”

The allure of exhibitionism

“I used to be very camera-shy…” says MagicMike, when I ask if he’d consider himself an exhibitionist. “Especially when I was just getting started, I was very camera-shy.”

“These days, I’m still a very private person – especially when it comes to sex – but I am starting to explore and enjoy a bit of exhibitionism.”

“I have done some public sex videos, but my exhibitionism is still fairly subtle.”

Heroes and inspirations

“I’ve been a big porn enthusiast since my teen years…” confirms MagicMike, when I ask who his gay porn heroes are.

“I came to the United States when I was 24. That’s when I started buying and renting gay porn.”

“My first role-model – in terms of gay porn-stars – was Antonio Biaggi. I was in awe of his big dick and low-hanging balls, and also because he has a similar skin tone as me.”

“But, over the years, I’ve closely followed the work of Tim Kruger, Rocco Steele, Austin Wolf, and Michael Lucas. More recently, I’ve been following Rhyheim Shabazz, Viktor Rom, and Arad Winwin.”

Some of my porn-crushes are Brent Corrigan, Drew Dixon, Michael Boston, Austin Wilde, Adam Russo, Henrik Sommers, and Wesley Woods – to name just a few!

The business of adult entertainment

“I’m still exploring the entrepreneurial side of the business…” says MagicMike, when I ask about the marketing required to build a brand in gay porn.

“I’ve only been doing this for a year, there’s still a lot of things I need to figure out. But yeah, the idea of building my brand and marketing my content and engaging with the audience excites me.”

“Most of my fans are from Twitter. My fans are super-supportive and encouraging in what I’ve done and achieved so far. They recognise the hard work that goes into the filming and content creation, and I’m trying to constantly meet their expectations and keep them entertained.”

The underwear

“I’m a very experimental guy when it comes to underwear…” says MagicMike, when our conversation inevitably turns to underwear.

“I like most styles, and I wear most styles.”

“Having said that, my day-to-day underwear is boxer-briefs – simply because they give me the room and the support that I need to have for my assets to breathe and roam freely, without causing a tent.”

“I wear boxer-briefs or compression tights to the gym, depending on the season and workout that I’m doing that particular day.”

“In terms of what other guys are wearing, I love thongs, jocks and briefs.”

“I’d love to be a model for Andrew Christian – I’m a big fan of the brand.”

Planning ahead

“I’d like to improve on my craft and entrepreneurial side, but still meet the expectations of my followers…” says MagicMike, when I ask about his plans for the months ahead.

“It would be amazing if I could get 100K followers before 2022, and land a contract with a leading studio.”

“I’d love to be recognised on the world stage as the first Indian gay porn-star.”
