Health matters

Plus, you’re going to be up-to-speed with transmission prevention tools such as PrEP and TasP.
Lots of places now offer at-home testing for STIs – for example, in the US the CDC provides a website to help people access at-home testing kits. Regular testing is the best way to stay on top of any risks associated with STIs.
Communication and Consent
Even if you’ve got some language barriers to negotiate, consent still matters. If you’re navigating a sexual encounter and you’re not sure if the guy you’re with is giving you the green-light or not, pause, take a step back, and try and figure that out.
Equally, if you’re the one having second-thoughts, make sure that you’ve learned enough of the local language to be able to clearly say no if you’re not into what’s going down.
Self-Exploration and Empowerment
One of the joys of travel is the opportunity to try new things and grow as a person. When you’re visiting a new destination, that could be as simple as exploring the local naked beach, or visiting the local bathhouse, or it could be experimenting with a kink that you haven’t previously had the chance to dabble in.
